Here is exactly what your first class at Empower will be like, so you can walk in knowing what to expect.

A warm welcome at the door

The moment you arrive, someone will greet you, learn your name, and help you feel at home. You are not going to be left to figure things out alone. We will introduce you to your coach and to a few friendly faces, and we will make sure all your questions are answered before anything begins.

What to bring and wear

For your first class, just bring comfortable athletic clothing you can move in, and a water bottle. That is all you need. You do not need a uniform or any equipment to start. We will take care of the rest and let you know about gear once you decide to continue.

You will not be thrown to the wolves

This is the worry we hear most, and it is the easiest one to put to rest. Your first class is about learning fundamentals at a comfortable, beginner-friendly pace. You will be paired with patient training partners and guided by a coach the entire time. You will never be pushed past what you are ready for. The goal of day one is simply for you to learn a little and enjoy yourself.
